Sports massage is a treatment that not just sporty people use!
Lots of people have now cottoned on to the fact that this is the best form of massage to have as we look at the reasons why your body is behaving the way it is.
With each client there is an assessment. This is there to provide me with some idea of how your body is mechanically working.
This method has been created by Luigo Stecco, an Italian physiotherapist. There is no other treatment like it out there.
There are 3 levels to this course, I am both level 1 and 2 qualified. The second Level I travelled all the way to Italy to study.
It is such an impressive treatment, Stecco is well known within the industry for his outstanding contribution to this invention. Here is an understanding of what it is all about:
The tape is heat adhesive and once on it lifts the skin, allowing the interstitial fluid movement through the superficial lymphatic vessels.
The decrease in fluid pressure would therefore allow for improvement in muscle function.
Acupuncture works on channels, meridians and organs within the body.
Dry needling is another way of removing trigger points. Trigger points are taut bands of fibre within the muscle.
So what better way to help them and you by showing some stretches to help improve your flexibility and also prevent injuries!
There are quite a few stretches with photos in this section and I have named them in basic terminology, for you to understand.
